Telescopes
Used in many of the largest telescopes in the world to align and maintain the geometry of the optical systems. Resulting in faster operation readiness and better images.

High Energy Applications
To align, control or monitor location of sensors, components or detectors inside vacuum and cryogenic environments in accelerators, high enery lasers and similar applications.

Machine geometry
Multiple measuring lines integrated in the structure and/or the working volume of machines help to calibrate the geometry and monitor changes due to foundation, wear, thermal drifts and collisions.

Metrology on Large Mirror Blanks in production
Combined with automated tracking heads, Multiline Technology can track moving targets. This allows multilateration systems that realize 3D µm accuracy in large volumes. Used for metrology on large mirrors and assembly of large components with ultimate accuracy.

Deformation of structures
Absolute Multiline Technology is used in space simulation chambers to monitor deformation of components under thermal stress, vibration and radiation. We supply fiber feedthroughs to use the sensors inside vacuum chambers.

Topography of mirror blanks
On 5 mm working range a measurement uncertainty of U(95%)=15 nm was achieved when measuring directly on the surface of polished glas substrate of aspheric mirror blanks to determine form and radius in relation to a reference flat.
